Template wording. This page is a starting template for a small digital agency. It is not legal advice and must be reviewed by a lawyer before launch.

We collect as little as we need to reply to you and do good work, we never sell it, and you can ask us to delete it at any time. The details are below.

Who we are

Brandcavo (“we”, “us”) runs this website and is responsible for the personal information described here. You can reach us about privacy at any time at hello@brandcavo.com.

What we collect

When you use the contact form: your name, email address, company and website (if you add them), the service you are interested in, your budget range (if you choose one) and your message.

When you email us or book a call: your contact details, what you write to us and any notes we take during the call.

When you browse the site: basic technical information such as your browser, device, approximate location from your IP address and the pages you visit. See analytics and cookies below.

When we work together: the information needed to deliver and invoice the project, such as billing details and access to accounts you share with us.

How we use it

  • to reply to your message and arrange a call;
  • to prepare quotes, deliver projects and send invoices;
  • to understand how the site is used so we can improve it;
  • to keep the site secure and stop spam;
  • to meet our legal and accounting duties.

Analytics and cookies

We may use analytics tools to count visits and see which pages are useful. Where possible we use settings that do not identify you personally. Some tools set cookies or similar small files in your browser.

Cookies that are essential for the site to work are always on. Any analytics or marketing cookies that need your consent will only be set after you agree, and you can change your mind at any time. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

[List the analytics and cookie tools actually used here once they are chosen.]

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the business, such as website hosting, email, calendar booking, analytics and accounting tools, and only as much as they need to do their job.

We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.

International transfers

Some of our providers store data in other countries. Where the law requires it, we make sure suitable safeguards are in place, such as standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries that do not turn into a project for up to [24] months, and client and invoice records for as long as tax and accounting rules require, usually [6] years. After that we delete or anonymise them.

Keeping it safe

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, such as encrypted connections, strong passwords and limiting who can access it. No system is perfectly secure, so please avoid sending passwords or sensitive details through the contact form.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • ask for a copy of the information we hold about you;
  • ask us to correct or delete it;
  • object to or limit how we use it, or withdraw consent;
  • ask us to send it to you or another company in a common format;
  • complain to your local data protection authority.

To use any of these rights, email hello@brandcavo.com. We will reply within the time the law allows, usually one month.

Children

This site and our services are meant for businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
